Let’s talk hydration.

I’m constantly drinking water on hikes. I’ve had a Camelbak before, but I wasn’t impressed with it. I’m tried a smaller pack, but I didn’t enjoy that either. Then I found the pack that married size, efficiency and quality into one bag:

The Platypus Hydration Pack.

Specs:

camelbakHydration System: This pack is mindfully designed for when you use it. It has a two hook system for holding up the bladder inside the pack, which can easily be removed by simply unclipping the handle from the green hooks. At the bottom of the bladder, you can easily detach water hose, and it will automatically shut-off water flow, allowing you to fill up or dry out the bladder without the hassle of the hose flopping around.

The blue handle at the top of the bladder slides on and off like a zipper, providing a large opening to work with when filling up. When it is full, you zip it closed and hang it back up in the bag.

The Bag Itself: It functions like a normal backpack, but is definitely a little more roomy than the other hydration packs I’ve had. I can comfortably fit my wallet, sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks, and a few other items without it feeling to crowded. It’s lightweight and the back of it has grooves to help with the sweaty back problem most pack cause.

Trust me, this is a bag you want to try. Since most Camelbaks around this size cost between $120-$180, you’ll love to know that this one cost only $76 right now. Get it here on Amazon.

If you decide to try it out, let us know how you like it! Have a great weekend and don’t forget to get outside!
